How does planning a journey with TERRA work?
It begins with a simple conversation. You share your approximate travel dates, who you are travelling with, what kinds of experiences excite you (tea hills, backwaters, ancient temples, coastal relaxation), and your preferred pace. Your proposed route can then be reviewed around practical travel times, accommodation preferences and local conditions before a written quotation is agreed.
Does an inquiry confirm my booking?
No. Your inquiry starts a personal conversation. Availability of specific heritage homestays, private houseboats, driver schedules, and confirmed pricing are verified and agreed in writing before any reservation is locked in.
Can I combine Kerala and Tamil Nadu in one route?
Yes, and we highly recommend it! Combining both states reveals remarkable contrasts: from the ancient stone gopurams and heritage mansions of Tamil Nadu across the dramatic Western Ghat passes into the lush backwaters and misty hills of Kerala.
Can I change or customize the suggested routes shown on the website?
Every route shown is purely inspiration. All stops, durations, hotel categories, and daily activities can be expanded, shortened, or completely redesigned around your wishes.
How do you handle transport and drivers?
Tell us your group size and vehicle preferences in the inquiry form. Vehicle category, driver arrangements, daily use and any guide service must be confirmed in the written quotation.
What styles of accommodation do you select?
You can ask for hotels, heritage properties, plantation stays, homestays or coastal retreats. The named property, room type, meals and availability need to be agreed before booking.
Do you cater to dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, allergies)?
Tell us your dietary requirements during planning. Availability and preparation arrangements must be confirmed with each accommodation or food provider; do not assume an allergen-free environment.
How do payments and quotations work?
Once your custom itinerary is finalized to your satisfaction, we provide a transparent, itemized written quotation outlining everything included. The payment method, recipient and booking conditions must be agreed in writing before you pay.
